the Bleeding Ma(chi)n(e)

It means so many things to some and is just the silliest name ever to others.
It’s the whole concept behind the music project itself, designed to express and share emotions and stories I experience with others using the medium that I cherish most, Music. “the Bleeding Ma(chi)n(e)” is for the most part an Industrial and Power noise band but it does not DEFINE itself as such. While it is often harsh sampled electronic music it is focused so much more on the message than sticking to a certain sound, and like any machine, will evolve as things are added to it and the sound should evolve with it.

G∂E∂M∂C

You are probably just curious what G∂E∂M∂C is if you have followed early works and notes.
G∂E∂M∂C is the other side of the Bleeding Ma(chi)n(e). It’s the name put that which does not fit under the emotional thematics, feel or canon of theBleeding Machine.
There are no released G∂E∂M∂C tracks as of this writing although there are some tracks in the pipeline.

Biography

Back in 2005 the short lived “The Morendo Project” broke up due to being unable to focus musically on a single sound we could both be happy with. From there Mr.White left to start work on his solo project “Morendo” while .jonnyD decided to form his own solo project “the Bleeding Ma(chi)n(e)” and work on a concept album that he had idealized years before.

Because of his current job as an Apple OS X server admin and systems architect he had to go on a long travel stint for system deployment. Armed with nothing more than a new copy of Ableton Live and a M-Audio Trigger Finger he set out, working on music in hotel rooms during the night . Out of these hotel rooms and mounting work and personal stress rage came the first song which truly “fit” the Bleeding Ma(chi)n(e), at the time simply called… RAGE.

During the two year travel stint several more pieces began to fall in to place; “Alone”, a song about self destructive tendencies and “Frantic”, an audio piece about being pent up. From there the “band” fell into disarray for about a year... with no forward progress and a new position at work consuming all his time it looked like the bleeding machine would fade away.

It 2008 the tables turned as .jonnyD became involved in the club scene and discovered more and more unique sounds that would be absorbed in to the ma(chi)n(e) itself. Though his side career as a DJ and Event photographer he also met several other artist in the field which through their support and excellence re-inspired the creative spark. With the introduction of Ten-Ten to the band things took off and have melded together to what is now growing like never before.

This is not just a band. the Bleeding Ma(chi)n(e) is a music project. It is an experiment in emotion transmitted to you digitally through sound. It is expression to others, sharing what is heard and seen in the mind of the Bleeding Ma(chi)n(e).
